We are delighted to announce that on the 17th May 2021, we will reopen our doors to customers.
The Monty is continuing to take additional measures, to ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues. This includes maintaining a safe distance and regular sanitisation of all frequently touched surfaces, plus our front of house staff will continue to wear the appropriate PPE.
So that we can look after you safely we can only take bookings for a maximum of 6 guests per table and for an allocated timed slot. Drinkers are welcome and we will continue to ensure your safety but it would also be good for us if you let us know you will be dropping in.
We cannot permit dogs in the restaurant unless they are assistant dogs. However, dogs are welcomed on the terrace or in the bar area. Please let us know if you intend to bring your dog so we can ensure we allocate the right space for you.
There are exciting times ahead and we are committed to ensuring your Pub experience will be in the true British manner and style, we’ve all loved and cherished.
As for Me, Sean I’m bouncing back from the Heart Surgery, just before Christmas, although poor Suzy, for I was verging on visiting Valhalla on several occasions. I would like to thank the Cardiac Surgeon and Anaesthetist at University Hospital Southampton, for their unstinting courage and dedication, which kept me alive through some very difficult decision making and procedures. To show my support for the Cardiac Surgery Unit I will be walking the 800 kilometres of the Camino de Santiago Frances during September and October this year. Yes within a year of the Op, hopefully raise a few quid for them?
